Within the territory of the Kovin municipality in Serbia, approximately 47 kilometers from Belgrade, the Čibuk 1 Wind Farm represents one of the largest wind energy projects in the region. The facility consists of 57 wind turbines, each with a generator capacity of up to 2.78 MW, forming a total installed capacity of 158 MW.
IEE played an essential engineering role in the project, responsible for developing the detailed design and as-built documentation for the entire wind farm complex. This work ensured that every stage of construction was executed according to technical standards and with high operational safety.
The successful completion of Čibuk 1 marks a serious milestone for Serbia’s renewable energy sector, supporting the country’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy production. The project stands as an example of effective collaboration between international investors and local engineering expertise.
